The Fountains of Silence by Ruta Sepetys

If you are a reader that loves romance books with many, crazy events that'll have you either screaming of joy or crying your eyes out late at night, this is the book for you. "The Fountains of Silence" by Ruta Sepetys is the kind of book that you never will want to put down because it's that good. It has love, fear, hope, heartbreak, and so much more that you will love. Ana, who is shown on the cover, is a secretive girl who lives in Madrid, Spain. She wants to live life like how she wants to but is too scared to because of her family's secret. Daniel, the other main character, is an American boy who goes to Madrid for the summer. He's a kind and creative boy but gets himself involved with stuff he should have stayed away from. Ana and Daniel are characters that you will fall in love and connect with right away. The length of the book is perfect for teens who want to spend the weekend reading. I would've loved if the author added more to the book because I loved it so much and because I feel like it could have had a better ending. The best thing about the book though is the title. The title fits the book so well. It connects with the setting, Madrid, Spain, and connects with the characters. The book "The Fountains of Silence" is hands down 5 stars. Written by K. Cruz
