The Baby-Sitters Club: Kristy’s Big Day by Ann M. Martin and Gale Galligan

If I were the author of this book I would recommend that this could help some kids whose parents are getting married and don’t know how to deal with it. The length of the book  is ok, maybe Martin and Galligan could have made the book length longer considering it is only 153 pages and I am a book lover. I would not have cut this book because I want it to be longer, and I would definitely add to it. One of my favorite quotes from this book is “Everyone coming together to make a new family, that is what the wedding was all about.”
Another one of my favorite quotes is when the newlyweds go on their honeymoon and leave the kids home, with Charlie the oldest in charge and he says, “So here are the house rules. One. Dinner every night will be pizza. Two. Everyone MUST go to bed an hour later than usual.  Three. No eating in the kitchen. Food is only allowed by the TV, and it must be on. David Michael, you cannot miss a single cartoon.”
After that David Michael says “Do I still have to take my vitamins?”
Charlie’s response is “Yes. Don’t press your luck.”
Overall this is one of my favorite books.
