Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J. K. Rowling

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a fun fantasy novel that displays wizardry. I really liked how this novel also had scary elements to it like when the students of Hogwarts were attacked by an unknown source in the school walls. I find it also interesting that the students think Harry is responsible and now he has to prove them wrong and look for clues with his friends. My favorite character is Ronald Weasly because he is Harry's best friend and also gets him out of sticky situations. Ron also helped Harry escape from the Dursleys. My least favorite character in the book was Draco Malfoy because he bullied Harry and his friends. He also insulted Harry and looked down on Harry, Malfoy also bullied Ron and called him poor and Malfoy tried to hurt Ron. My favorite quote is “I'll be in my bedroom, making no noise and pretending I'm not there.” Because It explained Harry's sadness being with the Dursleys and him being alone. I also really enjoyed it when Harry confronted the person responsible for the incidents at Hogwarts, the battle was very exciting and It showed that Harry is very brave and could prove himself against anything. I was very happy when the school found out Harry beat the foe and proved himself.  Harry got a lot of credit and became famous for defeating him. I
rate this book an 9/10.
