Ghost by Jason Reynolds

In the novel “Ghost” by Jason Reynolds the main character Ghost (Castle Cranshaw) only knows how to run. He has been running all his life- from his father or running away after he stole something, but he has never ran for a team. After he sees a track team running around he chooses to maybe tryout. After he beats a seasoned elite runner, his coach sees natural talent in Ghost, but he also has a lot of other bad things in him; lots of anger and his dark past he is trying to run away from. This is a really good book, I almost read it in one sitting. This book has a lot of character development and has great morals, I would recommend this book to other people, I rate this book 4.5/5 stars.
