All the Truth That’s in Me by Julie Berry

This novel is about a girl named Judith.  About four years ago, Judith and her best friend disappear!  One day Judith comes back, but permanently mute.  Her friends and family act like she is still gone, and everyone ignores her.

Judith begins to open up a bit to her childhood friend Lucas, even if he doesn’t suspect.  Things are the same until buried secrets begin to rise and Judith must choose to stay a ghost or speak up.  My favorite character is Judith because she is strong.  My favorite scene is when Lucas says, “It’s always you ladybird….don’t you know?”  It’s my favorite because this is one of the only times someone pays attention to Judith.

I rate this book a 6/10 because it was interesting, but I don’t like how it ends.
