The Fault in Our Stars is an amazing book. Basically, the book is about a girl named Hazel who suffers from cancer and while at one of her meetings at the church, she meets Augustus Waters, a boy who actually sees her as her, not someone who carries around an oxygen tank just so she could live. As they start to spend more time together, they fall in love. My favorite character would definitely have to be Augustus. He is not like any other character I have read about before. The character itself with his personality and his love for Hazel is just heartwarming. My favorite part of the whole book would have to be when Augustus used his wish on Hazel so they could go to Amsterdam to meet the author of Hazel’s favorite book – An Imperial Affliction.
If I were to rate this book out of 10, I would definitely rate it a 10. It was one of the best books I have ever read and I cannot wait for the movie to come out. As for recommendations, I would recommend this book to anyone.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is the romantic novel of our teenage years. Needless to say, if you have not read the book, you are missing out. Although the movie is out, as readers always say, “a movie can never capture the beauty of the words and images created in your own mind.” This novel of romance, hope, despair, and witty comedy has broken the hearts of readers nationwide. John Green is one of the most recognized writers right now, not only for The Fault in Our Stars but also for books like Looking for Alaska and Paper Towns. His books including TFIOS are amazing. You will fall in love with them like you fall asleep…slowly and then all at once.

In the story The Fault in Our Stars, the main character Hazel experiences lung cancer and faces the challenge of not living as a normal sixteen year old. She lives a miserable life at first, but then meets Augustus Waters, who is a young man that also experiences cancer but is cured now and faces the challenge of missing his leg. At first Hazel falls for him in the church group that they were having. Their relationship grows stronger and Hazel introduces him to the novel “Imperial of Affliction.” They even go on a trip to Amsterdam and they grow a much stronger bond. They also have a blind friend called Isaac and his girlfriend. However, Augustus Waters soon finds out that he has a short time to live. I though that this story was so emotional and inspiring. The story of how Hazel changes makes me realize that if she can deal with such catastrophe so can I and so can us teens. Hazel and Augustus…there are no words for me to say.

The book, The Fault in Our Stars is written by John Green. This book is about a girl named Hazel Grace who has cancer. She attends a cancer kid support group, and falls in love with a guy named Augustus Waters. They go to dinner together and a spark of love connects them. One day Hazel finds out that Augustus is in the hospital and he is dying, and nobody knows why or how this happened. Six days after, Augustus’s dad finds a notebook with 3 or 4 pages ripped out of it. He looked through his whole house and could not find one. These pages could be the answer to why and how Augustus is dying. Will Augustus survive or die?
I gave his book 4 stars. I believe that this book could’ve been written a little clearer. I had a hard time understanding some parts. But overall, I liked this book because it’s a nice love story. I would like to see the movie too.

After reading The Fault in Our Stars, I give it a 5 out of 5 rating. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good romantic teen-fiction book to read. It is about a girl named Hazel Grace. She could be your average teenage girl. However, she has cancer that affects her lungs. She was diagnosed at the age of thirteen. Ever since then she has been home-schooled, and she hasn’t really socialized with anyone lately. Her mom thinks Hazel has is depressed. Therefore, she sends her to a support group where she can talk to other people like her about her feelings. On her way out, she meets a boy named Augustus Waters, who lost his leg because of cancer. Augustus asks Hazel if she wants to come over and they talk about Hazel’s favorite book, An Imperial Affliction. Hazel has always wanted to meet Peter Van Houten, the author of An Imperial Affliction. Augustus decides that he wants to use his “wish”, a trip for someone with cancer, to go meet Houten with Hazel. Read more about Hazel and Augustus and their trip in The Fault In Our Stars.
