Gabe has a passion for DJ-ing. He has an amazing relationship with his mentor John. Gabe is a transsexual. His birth name is Elizabeth but he calls himself Gabe.
He knows society won’t accept him all the time. He is in love with his best friend Page. But before he confesses his love, he has to pass his insecurities.
My favorite character was Gabe. My favorite part is where Gabe hosts his first radio talk because it show about how he was a natural at being himself. I would rate the book 8 out of 10 because it didn’t appeal to me as much as I would have liked it to. I would not recommend it to friends because it didn’t appeal to me, but overall I think this was a good book.

Based on the title, the novel is about Gabe, who plays music for a radio station. Gabe thinks he is a boy, however, his parents, friends and everyone thinks he is a girl. His mom named him Elizabeth, and Gabe states he is a male, not a female. His parents think he went insane, but he thinks he’s been a boy throughout his life. He compares himself to music, a playable record with the “A” side being Elizabeth and the “B” side being Gabe. How is it possible to be a transgender?
My favorite character in this novel is Mara. She isn’t a music geek like John, but she can make Gabe the next best thing. She talks about him which is a way to get him a reputation. I would give the book about 3.5/5 because there isn’t a good theme for the plot, just a musical sensation and I would not recommend this.
