Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick by Joe Schreiber

SchreiberAu Revoir, Crazy European Chick is an action packed thrill ride.  Perry Stormaire has to take a foreign exchange student living with him, Gobija Zaksauskag, to the prom.  He thinks it will be a disaster, and he is correct.  It turns out Gobi, as she likes to be called, is a Lithuanian secret agent who has a mission to eliminate three targets.  This book is full of car chases, action packed scenes and a bear fight.  This book is about a 6 out of 10.  Recommended for age 15 and up due to inappropriateness.

In the story Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick, the main character, Perry, unlike me is basically all ready to have his future set out.  He already has applications for the greatest universities and is hoping that Columbia will accept him.  Now,you’ve got to be seriously smart for that!  Perry has some focus on his band, which his father thinks is a pipe dream.  Then comes the foreign exchange student that Perry had no problems with before besides her unpleasing looks.  But then he learns that as prom approaches, he is to take Gobi to the senior prom.  This is an order from his mother.  I was very surprised that when they arrived at the first hotel, that Gobi was changed into a much for pleasant version.  In the car, Gobi starts to state all of the people that had negative affects on her life.  Along the way, Perry is faced with many unusual scenes and is forced to answer tremendous amounts of questions from Gobi.  I really liked this because I though it was a great adventure and extremely funny.
