The Berlin Boxing Club is by far, one of the best books I have ever read. It is such a great tale of discrimination, violence, perseverance, love and boxing. My favorite character in this book is Max Schmeling. He is my favorite character because even though he faces discrimination by “associating” with Jews, he helps Karl Stern and his Jewish family throughout the novel. My favorite part of the book is in the beginning when Max Schmeling (a famous boxer) agrees to teach Karl Stern how to box because it shapes the entire story. I would rate this book a 10 out of 10 because it was that good. I would definitely recommend this book to all of my friends and family.
