What Can(t) Wait is about a 17 year old girl named Marisa and her mom and dad are from Mexico but are now in Houston. Marisa does good in school but her calculus teacher tells her she has to study more and pass the AP test to get into an engineering school in Austin. Marisa has to focus on that instead of working on other things for now and she doesn’t know if she can do her school work and keep up with her family and friends. So Marisa has to choose between her most important school work that’s she’s been waiting for or her friends and family that she loves.
